SUKKUR IBA

Institute with a difference

NISAR AHMED SIDDIQUI, Director IBA Sukkur

SEVEN REASONS

1. UNIQUE ENVIRONMENT:

Sukkur IBA has created a new environment in this part of Sindh. An environment of innovation, an environment of attaining higher and higher levels of merit and quality, an environment of entrepreneurship, an environment which will lead to progress and prosperity of Pakistan.

Sukkur IBA follows a policy of open merit. Neither there are any quotas, nor there is any compromise on merit.

2. ENVIABLE STANDARDS:

More than 95% of the graduates get jobs immediately. The waiting time is almost zero. The salary packages they get are quite handsome. The graduates of Sukkur IBA are working in various reputed organizations such as P.S.O., Askari Commercial Bank, National Bank of Pakistan, Soneri Bank, PICIC Commercial Bank, NADRA, Engro Foods Ltd, Sui Sothern Gas, Caltex, Habib Bank, Muslim Commercial Bank, Citibank etc.

This is market recognition of the standards of Sukkur IBA.

3. INNOVATIVE APPROACH:

At Sukkur IBA, a culture of pure merit has been developed and is being sustained with growing dimensions.

The majority of students seeking admission in Sukkur IBA, come from rural areas of Sindh. It is a fact that majority of them possess lot of deficiencies particularly in English and Mathematics. Sukkur IBA has adopted a unique approach to solve this problem.

On one hand Sukkur IBA feels that there is nothing wrong with these young and bright girls/boys. Almighty Allah has endowed them with excellent IQs. Only fault is that they belong to poor families who can not send them to good private schools in urban areas. They are compelled to go to govt. schools/colleges in rural areas, where the standards are conspicuous by their absence.

On other hand Sukkur IBA cannot lower down the standards for these students. It would be simply disservice to them. Sukkur IBA is determined to produce employable and competitive graduates who are keenly required in the market.

In order to meet this challenge Sukkur IBA has started "Foundation Semester", which is, in other words, "Zero Semester". In this semester the students are rigorously trained in English, Basic Mathematics, Computer and General Knowledge. The students qualifying in foundation semester are admitted in regular program.

4. MARKET ORIENTED PROGRAMS:

Sukkur IBA has launched market-oriented program like B.S. (Computer Science), B.S. (Telecommunication Systems) and many other short-term courses with practical approach. BBA and MBA are most popular programs of Sukkur IBA.
