STAR WARS EPISODE III-THE REVENGE OF THE SITH
Sony Ericsson has exclusive marketing rights to do promotions based on Star Wars until December 2005. Many of the markets in APAC will shortly be launching their Star Wars promotions. Exclusive series of phones would be launched in APAC regions including Pakistan. Special additions of ringtones, wallpapers and series would be made available.
GRAND DEALER QUIZ COMPETITION
Sony Ericsson's dedicated channel team conducted a quiz in Karachi Electronics market to educate dealers and retailers about Sony Ericsson wide range of products and distinguished features. The motive behind this was to create awareness regarding advanced technology available in Sony Ericsson handsets. More than 500 dealers participated in the quiz and were awarded gifts.
PARTICIPATION IN MOBILE FAIR
Sony Ericsson made it's presence felt at a mobile fairs held in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. These mobile fairs exhibited phone range from all leading manufacturers, hi-end products, cutting edge technology devices. MEGA MID SUMMER CONCERT
In last week of June Sony Ericsson sponsored a Mega musical show at a leading club in Karachi. The performers included Junoon, Atif Aslam and Fakhir. The event was well attended and the participants deeply appreciated Sony Ericsson support for Pakistani Pop music.
ROCK KARACHI ROCK- AN EVENT OF IT'S KIND
Recently Sony Ericsson sponsored a mega rock concert comprising of national and international performers. The billboards were seen throughout the city and the event was attended by more than 10,000 music and Sony Ericsson lovers. The performers were Bombay rockers, Atif Aslam, Fakhir and Fakhr e Alam. The event can be easily termed as the "Event of the year" .The Karachi city rocked that night.
On the international front Sony Ericsson participated in CommunicAsia, the biggest IT exhibition of Asia Pacific region. Nokia, LG, Motorola, Samsung also participated. Sony Ericsson booth generated great traffic because of its unique diplay, K750i printing activity and most important Star Wars costume promoters.
C FUTURE -INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE -"GLOBAL TRENDS OF ICT":
The Exhibitors along with Geo Tv hosted the 1st mega event of telecom industry called C Future 2005. The event comprised 3 day activity. The first day i.e 22nd July 2005 was the International conference on the topic Global Trends in IT and telecommunication. The event was attended by representatives of Nokia,Red tone, PTCL,Motorola,United Mobiles etc. This event had govenment support and the Governor Sindh graced the occasion .Mr.Noman ul Haq and Mr.Pontus Sonnerstedt were awarded special plaques.Sony Ericsson was the main sponsor for the conference.
C-FUTURE-2DAY EXHIBITION AT EXPO:
The conference was followed by 2 day exhibition and the participants were all major players of telecom inductry. Special telecom related programs were recorded by Geo Tv. The main participants were Sony Ericsson,Nokia, Motorolla, United Mobiles, Mobilink, Paktel, Advance telecom etc. Sony Ericsson booth gained tremendous response mainly beacuse of its unique and detailed exhibit of handsets, USPs and variety of colors available. It also had a separate corner for upcoming phones. Another distinct feature was SE unique display of wide range of accessories including bluetooth car kit. This event is expected to take place yearly.

Sony Ericsson, in the spirit of Pakistan independence day celebrated the 59th Birthday of Pakistan with great zeal and enthusiasm. The Azadi float was seen in various parts of City Karachi doing interactive activities and conducting national song singing competitions. The Azadi float was the main attraction at Clifton Sea view on 14th August 2005.
