The mission of Griffith College Dublin, Ireland is to provide our students with a centre of learning and excellence where they can develop their own potential on an intellectual, personal, social and career level.
At Griffith College Dublin's Karachi Campus, we have taken steps to ensure that our students will have no doubts about the authenticity of our programmes or the value of the education that they will receive. Before we commenced our journey as a branch campus of Griffith College Dublin, Ireland our institution and programmes received accreditation from the Higher Education and Training Award Council (HETAC), Ministry of Education, Ireland, Higher Education Commission (HEC) and subsequently from the Government of Sindh.
The HETAC qualifications, as the national qualification of a constituent European Union member state, are recognized internationally. These credentials guarantee our students that the degree they receive is marketable in the national and international marketplace.
Originally established in 1974 as a Business and Accounting Training Institution, Griffith College has always been distinguished by the success rate of its pupils and high standard of its study materials. At present, there are approximately 5,000 students pursing a variety of undergraduates and MBA programmes in the college in Ireland. Classes commenced at the Karachi Campus in October 1999. The College has been named Griffith College Dublin, Karachi Campus because we are a branch campus of the college in Ireland.
We are offering a totally European degree, a first in any institution in Pakistan, fully recognized by the Irish Education Authority. This interlink has been developed in the interest of our Pakistani students so that, if they wish they can complete part of their degree in Karachi and the remainder in Ireland, or alternatively complete their entire degree in Karachi. Our curriculum and syllabi are equally consistent with those offered by all the leading institutions globally, hence affording easier transfers and instant adjustments. It is due to these strengths that our students have received unhindered transfers to institutions such as Purdue University, USA; University of Houston, Downtown Campus, USA; University of Toronto, Canada; Dalhousie University, Canada; and others. Our students also receive direct entry into leading graduate programmes worldwide without the need for additional coursework.
