The second wave in the world saw the dawn of Industrial and Commercial Revolution in the world. This necessitated careful handling of production aspects. Moreover the third wave, saw the rise of services sector. Hence the importance of operations became pronounced. Accordingly need arose for comprehending the concepts and applications of Production Operation Management (POM).

The author taught the above course at MBA, MS (Banking and Finance) and Ph.D. level in TQM in various Universities but in particular in the University of the Punjab. He has developed a manual on Production Operations Management. This manual contains:

3) Cases for analysis relating to POM.

4) Transcripts of multimedia presentation on world renowned book entitled "Production Operation Management" authored by three well noted Professors of Bradford University.
