COMMENTS:
The rupee managed to stand firm against the US dollar through out this week and no major change in the price of the currency was recorded. The rupee started fresh week on the overnight firm note and managed to proceed in the same direction without showing any change in the exchange price. Mostly through out the week, transactions took place at Rs. 60/45 as there was low  demand of all currencies which stood as the foremost supporting factor to the national currency.

COMMENTS: The better performance of euro in the international market and rising demand of the same continued to give  an edge to euro over the national currency this week as well. The dollar traded in narrow ranges against euro on the International desks which stood as the major factor to support euro against rupee in the  kerb dealings as well.

COMMENTS
:
Sterling started this week on a positive note but with its falls against the US dollar  in the international market lost momentum here in the kerb as well and lost significant grounds afterwards and thus the national currency was able to recover the lost grounds. The rupee was able to make a come back especially after deadly attacks in London started off selling from the investors thus pushing the currency well down on the desks.

COMMENTS: A mix trend was observed in the price of yen against rupee this week and the currency continued to behave under its international market  trend. With its mix performance against greenback in the international markets, rupee was able to bulld pressure on Yen here in the kerb. The demand of currency remained within normal range and yen continued to trade at a price level of 0.536-0.538 this week.
