AERO ASIA LAUNCHES E-TICKETING FACILITY USING THE CITIBANK PAYMENT GATEWAY

Citibank N.A. and Aero Asia (Pvt.) Ltd announced last month a pioneering service whereby passengers, for the first time in Pakistan, will be able to purchase domestic airline tickets online through an e-ticketing facility.
"Citibank is proud to once again fulfill its commitment to introduce products and services that provide convenience to the Pakistani consumer," said Citibank's consumer business manager, Ahmed Khizer Khan. "Our aim continues to be to provide our customers with state of the art value additions complement their lifestyle."

This visit to Pakistan has been undertaken by Dr. Hassall with an aim to evaluate the regional performance, ensure organizational development at all management levels and to further groom the local talent at P&G Pakistan by equipping them with modern management and marketing mechanisms adopted globally by P&G.

SIEMENS MOBILE LAUNCHES NEW 65 SERIES IN PAKISTAN

As part of its continuous efforts to introduce the latest mobile technology to the Pakistani consumers, Siemens Mobile introduced and array of its upcoming products from the new 65 platform, including the new models: Siemens C65, CX65, M65 and the S65.

The products were launched at a media briefing which was largely attended by the media and Siemens mobile senior executives including Mr. Sohail Wajahat Siddiqui Managing Director & CEO, Siemens Pakistan, Mr. Zia-ul-Islam Zuberi, Divisional Director Corporate Communication and Mr. Faisal abbas (D) General Manager Siemens mobiles.

Speaking in the occasion, Faisal Khan Sadozai, Marketing Manager, Siemens Mobile, Pakistan said, "The 65 platform series is not only about experience, but also about optimum performance and progressive design. The series stands out from competitors by taking outdoor communications to new levels, through superior designs and entails the latest multimedia features."

During the briefing, Syed Shoaib Pasha, Manager Product Operations & Customer Care Siemens Mobile, gave a technical presentation highlighting salient features of Siemens mobile phones.

On the occasion, three separate lucky draws were held for the media attendees whereby the lucky winners were awarded one latest Siemens mobile CX65, M65 and C65.

Later in the afternoon, another session was held which was largely attended by the Siemens Mobile dealers and distributors in Karachi.

PIPE EXPORT

Messrs Data Steel Pipe Industries (Pvt) Ltd, the leading Spiral Pipe manufacturer of the country have exported first ever consignment of Spiral Pipes from Pakistan this week.

This export was of Large Pipes of 68 inches to Sri Lanka. The company is making efforts to enter in to other markets like Bangladesh, Iran and UAE.
