COMMENTS: In the open market, the Rupee came under pressure against the greenback and lost significant grounds throughout this week. The Rupee started on a firm note but failed to hold the same on account of increased demand from the corporate buyers, importers, weekly credit card payments and bankers. However, the Rupee managed to recover some grounds and ended the week on a weak note.

COMMENTS: The Rupee showed a mix trend against the Euro this week as well in the initial stages, the Rupee stood firm and demonstrated gains in its price. However, towards the end of the week, the Rupee gave up some grounds as well. The international market fluctuations affected the Rupee against the currency.

COMMENTS: In the open market no major change in the price of the Rupee against Yen was recorded throughout the week. The currency stood motionless in most of the sessions for the reason that no big demand came in the market due to slow trading activities from the buyers.
