Institute
of Business Administration (IBA), pioneer of business education in
Pakistan enjoys the distinction of producing business leaders who with

LEATHER
One of the top leather and
leather garment exporters signed an agreement with Dupont Apparel and
Textile Sciences to be the first licensee to use Lycra technology in
the Asia Pacific. PAGE talked to S.M. Naseer of Din Leather who
called the agreement a breakthrough for the leather industry of
Pakistani to help increase export earnings by increasing Din's exports
by as much as 40 per cent.
PICIC
The strategic plan,
initiated in 1996, has enabled PICIC to move ahead with remarkable
success. It has been able to consolidate its financial position and
improve its ability to offer a diversified range of services. During
the year 2001 PICIC's operating profit attained impressive level which
enabled the Corporation to pay 12 per cent dividend and issue 15 per
cent Bonus Shares.
