COMMENTS: In the open market, the Pak Rupee stood firm against the Green back throughout the week and no major change in its price was recorded on the desks. There was no major activity in the market that supported the Rupee to maintain the stable trend that it is holding for the last so many weeks. In most of the sessions, the demand of the Green back remained normal and no major change in the trading turnover was recorded throughout.

COMMENTS: The trading trend between the Rupee and the Pound remained on a normal note and the national currency showed routine changes in its price against the Pound here in the kerb. The Rupee in most of the sessions remained firm and a gain of Rs. 0.20 in its prices was recorded on the desks. The Rupee thus ended the week showing strong footing against the Pound this week here in the kerb amid to easy supply of the currency in the market as compared to last week.

COMMENTS: The Euro traded at more or less the same price as it was trading last week. Only a slight difference was recorded till the close of the markets. The Euro did not deviate much from the last weeks price and a slight loss in its price was recorded till the close of the markets. The market sentiments thus remained in favour of the Rupee against the Euro and against German Mark this week too.

COMMENTS: The Rupee remained strong against the Yen this week as well as the currency was demanded less than normal by the business individuals. The trading turnover remained less than normal this week and thus the rupee maintained its stability in its price against Yen at the end of the week here in the kerb.
