Comments:
The Rupee in the open market remained strong against the Pound this
week too and in most of the sessions, gained grounds against the
currency. The demand of the Pound came in normal volumes fair enough
to be met easily by the existing supply in the market. The Rupee
showed smart gains against the currency in most sessions of the week.

Comments:
The Rupee showed strength against the German
Mark this week too and thus continued with the firm footing that it
has been showing for the last couple of days. The fall of Euro in
the international market to record levels this week due to weak
economic data released from Germany kept the Euro under pressure
against the US Dollar.

Comments:
The Rupee remained firm against the Yen this
week as well and much change in its price at the end of the market
was not recorded here in the kerb. Yen showed gains against the US
Dollar this week and in most of the sessions got investors attention
as its demand remained high. In the kerb however, low demand from
the buyers supported the Rupee on the desks and the Rupee finally
closed trading on a firm note.
