Citibank and EFU Life recently signed an agreement offering one of EFU's life insurance products, the Education Plan, to Citibank Credit Cardmembers. Citibank, a pioneer and leader in the credit card product, has launched initiatives that provide safety and security to its Cardmembers. The Education Plan is a simple and convenient way to save money for a child's future.

EFU Life is the largest life insurance company in the private sector with over 60% of the market share. The company provides life insurance coverage to more than 370,000 lives

Through the Education Plan, by paying a monthly premium, Citibank Credit Card customers can now plan ahead for the education of their children. The plan provides required funds to cover educational expenses of children and ensures that the education plans do not suffer a financial setback in case of premature death of the Cardmember.

The book has been produced and published by the hotel with all royalties going to Karachi's Lourdes Convent, a private school that started 28 years ago and helps poor children from kindergarten to matriculation. The school traditionally struggles for funds in the ultra-poor port city.
