Comments:
In the open market, the Pak Rupee stood firm against the Green back
throughout the week and no major change in its price was recorded on
the desks. There was no major activity in the market that supported
the Rupee to maintain the stable trend that it is holding for the last
two weeks. The Rupee ended the week with a firm note against the US
Dollar.

Comments:
The trading trend between the Rupee and the Pound remained on a high
note and the national lost certain grounds against the Pound here as a
result in the kerb. The Rupee in most of the sessions remained stiff
and a significant loss of Rs.1.25 in its price was recorded on the
desks. The Rupee thus ended the week showing fall in its price against
the Pound.

Comments:
The German Mark traded at more or less the same price as it was
trading last week. Only a slight difference was recorded till the
close of the markets. However, the gains of the Euro in the market
due to its strong footing against the US Dollar in the international
market this week created its impact in the kerb too and the Euro
showed a significant gain against the Rupee.

Comments:
The Rupee remained strong
against the Yen this week too as the currency was demanded less than
normal by the business individuals too. The trading turnover
remained less than normal this week too and thus the Rupee
maintained its stability in its price against Yen at the end of the
week here in the kerb.
