Comments:
In the open market, the Rupee did not show any major change in its
price with respect to last week's trading score as the market
comparatively remained static and no major activity therefore was
recorded throughout. The Rupee throughout the week traded at
Rs.60.50-55, showing a gain of 0.10 paisa as compared to last week.

Comments:
In the open market, the Rupee and Pound remained firm against each
other and throughout the week, significant rise and fall was not
recorded except the routine fluctuations. The firm trading behaviour
of the Pound in the international market showed its trend in the local
markets too.

Comments:
The Rupee remained strong against the German Mark this week too. The
trading turnover remained normal in the sessions. The demand of the
Mark was less than its supply thus giving an edge to the national
currency in the form of mere gains. The Euro also remained dim in
the trading and no major change was recorded in its price.

Comments:
In the open market no change
in the price of the Rupee against Yen was recorded throughout the
week. The currency stood motionless in most of the sessions for the
reason that no big demand came in the market due to slow trading
activities from the buyers ahead of the Muharram holidays. On the
other hand, the weakness of Yen in the international market against
its major rivals also supported the Rupee.
