IBA, University of Sindh celebrates a full week in
its efforts of upgrading the dignity of work, commencing from
04-02-2002. The Director, IBA, Professor Dr. Anwar Ali Shah G. Syed
inaugurated the celebration.
On this occasion worthy Vice-Chancellor Mr.
Mazhar-ul-Haq Siddiqui extended his appreciation. He said that he felt
honoured and happy to see the Director, faculty members alongwith
their students scrubbing the IBA walls clean.
He considered the event as a unique act which will
on one hand infuse the students with a sense of responsibility and
also make the academic atmosphere of the University productive on the
other. He also said that he was looking forward to the same high
spirit in other institutes and departments of the University.
The Director coupled with faculty members joined
their hands with students in dusting corridors of IBA. On this
occasion he said "We are history makers and thereby we have set a
new and worth continuing trend in the University. This program is
aimed at making the faculty members and students realize glory, honor,
nobility and solemnity of one's work done by oneself. I have always
believed that clean and hygienic environment contributes a lot in
creation of exciting and healthy academic atmosphere. He also said
that I am glad to see the enthusiasm of students in getting their own
institute cleansed and painted. We are determined to impart a sense of
team spirit and clean-ness into students to make environment spotless
and dustfree".
The Director also encouraged and insisted the new
comers to follow the footprints of their senior colleagues for
maintaining the dignity of work and noble cause of education. He said:
"We are working for the betterment of educational quality at IBA.
We are also strengthening the University-Industry interaction to help
our graduates for seeking the jobs". The students also chanted
slogans and carried banners that read the message for dignity of work.
