Comments:
The Rupee remained weak against the Green back this week in most
sessions and showed falls in its price till the close. The demand of
the Green came in big volumes especially from the corporate circle,
which not only increased the price of the Green in the interbank
market but behaved the same in the kerb too.

Comments:
The Pound showed strength against the Rupee this week too and gained
against the Rupee at the close of the markets. The rise in the price
of the US Dollar and strong support for the currency in the
international market created its impact in the kerb too. The Rupee
ended the week showing a fall of 0.30 Paisa against the Pound here in
the kerb at the end of the week.

Comments:
The Rupee in the open market remained under pressure in most of the
sessions. Although Euro lost significant grounds against the Green
back and other major currencies in the international market but here
in the kerb, the Rupee remained under pressure mainly due to an
increase in the demand and the overall pressure on the Rupee due to
the rise in the price of the US Dollar.

Comments:
Yen this week too kept the
Rupee under pressure and gained more grounds in most of the
sessions. The demand of the currency continued to come in heavy
volumes, as the importers demanded the same for making their
payments as the end of the first quarter of the year is approaching.
Thus it is expected that the Rupee might remain under pressure.
