Comments:
The Rupee in the open market remained firm this week too and major
fall in its value was not witnessed against the Green back. The market
sentiments went in favour of the national currency as the demand of
the Green came less than normal and thus the existing supply of the
currency met the requirements with fair ease.

Comments:
In the kerb market, the Pound Sterling showed stress against the Rupee
as the international falls of the currency made it to behave as the
same here as well mostly, the individuals sold their held Pounds in
the market with a fear that it may go down further.

Comments:
In the open market, the Rupee gained significant grounds against the
German Mark as the slim trading activity in the market supported the
national currency to show fine resistance against the mark till the
close of the markets on Saturday.

In the domestic market, the
Rupee remained firm against Yen and slight change in the trading
price was recorded at the end of the week, in the international
market, the US Dollar also kept Yen under pressure while Euro traded
in mix variations throughout week's trading sessions.
