Comments:
This week under review remained calm and much activity in the market
was not observed throughout. Trading took place at normal pace and the
Rupee in most of the sessions showed firmness against the Greenback
this week. The selling pressure persisted in the market that gave
considerable support to the Rupee that had suffered from severe
depreciation in its value against the Green in the last two months.
Speculative buyers also remained at side lines and thus the Rupee
ended the week showing more uplift in its value against the Greenback.

Comments:
In the domestic market, the Rupee moved both ways against the Sterling
and major change in its value was not recorded as compared to last
week's trading score. The Rupee showed a gain of 0.15 against the
Pound at close of the markets amid to fall of the currency in the
world market against the Dollar.
In the international market, Pound after gaining initially ended the
week with a weak note as a data showed less than expected economic
results of the nation.

Comments: In the Kerb, German
Mark remained firm against the Pak Rupee and showed a gain of 0.15
Paisa at the close of the markets. The main reason of this behavior
of the currency comes out to be the firmness of the Euro against the
Greenback in the international market.
In the world currency market, the Euro traded positively against all
its major rivals but trimmed all its gains in the ending sessions of
the week.

Comments: Normal
changes were recorded in the value of the Rupee against Yen here in
the Kerb this week. In the international market, Yen closed with a
mix trend and throughout the week showed losses against Yen and US
Dollars. However marching towards the end of the week, the Yen
recovered its grounds against Euro.
