Comments: In the local market, the Rupee remained firm against the Green back throughout the week and succeeded to recover its lost grounds in the trading. The Green back lost mere value against the Rupee and thus the national currency ended the week with a firm note. The activities in the market remained slow comparatively and the existing demand of the currency was considerably met by its supply.

Comments: In the kerb, the Pound traded positively against Rupee and managed to score gains in the week's trading sessions. Both the currencies gained and lost as a part of routine trading pattern and ended the week in normal direction. The Pound however, ended the week showing a gain of 0.20 Paisa at the end of the week.

Comments: In the local market, the Rupee showed an uplift against the Mark this week and most demonstrated an upper hand in most trading sessions of the week. The trading however remained at normal and no unusual buying or selling was recorded at the end. The Rupee ended the week showing a decline of 0.50 Paisa against the Mark at the end of the week.

Comments: In the local market, Rupee gained against Yen mainly because of the international market trend. Nevertheless, Yen also posted a recovery when it espied two month highs against Dollar in the world market in the international market. The Yen gained in the initial sessions but ended the week with a weak note. A change in the political scenario of Japan have created some positive indications for the recovery of the currency in the near future.
