THAL ENGG.
Thal Engineering has however taken a
lead by setting up yet another unit in the engineering sector supporting localization
process in Pakistan's automobile sector. "Wiring Harness Plant" launched with
internationally acceptable standards of production in technical collaboration with
Furukawa Electric Company of Japan.
YARN
State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has given
indications to review the decision regarding withdrawal of export re-financing facility
available to cotton yarns. If the facility was not restored, it may seriously hit the set
export targets for the year 2000-2001. Cotton yarn and gray cloth share 42 per cent of the
total textile exports from Pakistan.
